The Rock

This private villa on Mallorca sits above Puerto Andratx, terraced into the hillside with respect to the local stone facades and building techniques. The first terrace relates to the adjacent Mallorca aesthetic, while the lower terrace surrounding the pool creates an open “Ibiza style” concept. Close and meticulous coordination was needed through all phases of the project to ensure adherence to the strict limitations the municipality has in effect due to its “zona rustica” designation which dictates the footprint, window sizes, etc.
