Private outdoor spaces

A home with a beautiful view of the sea necessitated a relaxing place to enjoy it from. The design sought to better integrate the terraces and walkways with the existing home, connecting to the existing copper arches with new copper planting beds that flow out from the house to create a more “Italian” style terrace at the seaside. A flood barrier protects the home when a storm builds, but when the weather is pleasant it serves as a lower sun terrace with a sunken jacuzzi and lounge which connects the inner swimming pool with the outdoor terraces.
