Container concept

The client wished to develop student housing in the most efficient way possible. The idea developed for more flexibility to move the units to other areas without larger demounting, so the concept was to use standard containers mounted to a barge, which is itself self-sustaining with water purification, solar cells on the roof and a large storage unit in the floating structure. Above, the containers were modelled in a settled system of nine containers, where the corner and center container being pushed out, creating terraces for the other containers, and on the next container “cube”, the pattern is reversed. The unit could be used for student homes, hotels/hostels, refugee camps etc. with scalable flexibility at a low cost.
